College Possible -- FREE College Counseling Services and Support!
College Possible is a non-profit AmeriCorps program dedicated to making college access and success possible for all students by providing free college coaching to students from low-income backgrounds. Our near-peer coaches work with students starting their junior or senior year of high school, then connect them with a College Success Coach who will support them all the way through their higher education journey until they get a college degree!
Students get 6+ years of FREE coaching and support in the form of 1:1 coaching sessions and regular group sessions in which we will discuss common challenges students face when applying to colleges and adjusting to university life. For high school juniors and seniors, this means personalized support with SAT/ACT prep, finding your ‘best fit’ schools, submitting college applications, writing your personal statement, securing financial aid and scholarships, preparing for your first year of college, and more.
Our program works! 98% of students enrolled in College Possible are accepted into college. Additionally, our students are 3X more likely to complete a bachelor’s degree than their peers from similar backgrounds. Get the College Possible advantage by applying today!
College Possible is accepting applications through October 31st. To be eligible, students need to have a 2.0 GPA or higher, meet family income requirements, have an interest in getting a bachelor’s degree, and commit to full participation in the program. Spots are limited, so apply today!
