The following information is being provided to communicate all:

• School days that students are required to attend
• Non-School days that students are required to attend
• School events that parents/care givers are required/encouraged to attend

Required Student Attendance:
Please follow this link for the 2024-2025 Renton School District Student Calendar. This calendar includes all required student attendance days for the 2024-2025 school year.

Teacher Academy Required Student Attendance:

Late May 2025 (Date TBD), 5-8 PM. Teacher Academy Students Required

Performing Arts Required Student Attendance:

Fall Instrumental Music Concert - October 17th 2024 Students Required: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra

Matter of the Heart Performance - December 6th, 2024 Students Required: Jazz Ensemble

Winter Instrumental Music Concert - December 12th, 2024 Students Required: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra

Spring Instrumental Music Concert - March 5th, 2025 Students Required: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra

Final Instrumental Music Concert - May 29th, 2025 Students Required: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra

Graduation Performance - June 11th, 2025 Students Required: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Orchestra

All events below are required for students enrolled in Concert Band & Symphonic Band Pep Band:

Football; September 14th, 2024: Pep Band

Football - HOMECOMING; September 20th, 2024: Pep Band

Football - October 3rd, 2024: Pep Band

Football - October 18th, 2024: Pep Band

The following performances are required for all students in Concert Band & Symphonic Band:

December 4th, 2024; Double Varsity Basketball Game

December 16th, 2024; Girls Varsity Basketball Game

January 31st, 2025; Double Varsity Basketball Game

Note: Students will be required to attend any playoffs and/or post season competitions for basketball & football: Dates TBD if applicable
