PSAT Image

October 16th is the PSAT for 10th and 11th grade students. The PSAT is a practice SAT, and is offered free to all RHS sophomores and juniors during the school day. Also, the PSAT is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholar program for 10th graders. All students should be at school on time by 7:20 am as all students will be engaged in meaningful activities. Any 10th or 11th grader who arrives after 8:00 am will not be able to take the PSAT as it is a timed, proctored test. All 9th and 12th grade students are expected to attend the full school day. Important graduation requirement activities will be covered for 9th and 12th grade students. Seniors will get information regarding cap and gowns and the senior photo will be taken. If your student will be absent, please call our attendance office to excuse them at (425) 204-3410.

All high school families and students are invited to attend the district’s annual Post-Secondary Fair, where families and students can meet with representatives from local community, technical colleges, universities, the military, and more, as you plan for life beyond high school.  Many colleges and universities will be available to showcase their programs and answer questions about enrollment, funding, college life, and more.  The event is Wednesday, October 23, from 6pm-8pm at the Renton Pavilion Event Center, 233 Burnett Ave South, Renton WA 98057.  For additional information, high school students should contact her/his high school Career Center Specialist or visit the Career Center website!
